Thursday Oct 4, 2012 from 7:30 to 10:00PM

Special impromptu Observing Event
at the ACA Observatory
Public is welcome and encouraged to attend!

Note from our Observatory Director: The observatory will be open from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. We'll be looking at double stars and open clusters during the first part of the observing session and then move on to planetary nebulae and globular clusters featuring the M13 & M22 showdown with the two 14" telescopes. The Meade 14" will be fitted with the 31mm Nagler eyepiece! We hope to see you here.

Remember to dress for 15°F cooler than
predicted nighttime low temperature.

Jet Stream (updates automatically to latest available image)
The Jet Stream affects astronomical "seeing" (steadiness of the air)
If we're in a gray area, seeing will not be as good as in a white area.
If we're in a white area, the shorter the arrows, the better.
