(rescheduled from 4/2/2016)

Status updated by our Observatory Director on Saturday 4/9/2016 at 5:44 PM:

Our star party for this evening has been CANCELLED
due to clouds, wind, and cold temperatures.
The extended forecast calls for clear skies and warmer temperature Wednesday night so we tentatively plan to have an impromptu star party.
The Website will be updated when plans are finalized.

Jet Stream
(
updates automatically to latest available image)
The Jet Stream affects astronomical "seeing" (steadiness of the air)
If we're in a gray area, seeing will not be as good as in a white area.
If we're in a white area, the shorter the arrows, the better.
