There will be
lots of interesting celestial objects on the observing list
including:
Asteroid Vesta
Andromeda Galaxy
Herschel's Double Cluster
Blue Snowball
ET Cluster
Saturn Nebula and more.
Remember to dress for
15°F
cooler than nighttime predicted low temperatures.
Looking at stars doesn't generate any body heat, it only warms the
heart.

A special
note from our observatory director...
Have you
been watching the Planet Parade in the morning sky?
Venus, Jupiter, Mars, & the Moon have been putting on a spectacular
show.
Mercury joins the group tomorrow morning (October 11th) and is next
to a thin
crescent Moon (1 day from New Moon). Venus is highest and brightest
in the eastern sky.
Jupiter is next brightest with Mars between Venus and Jupiter. |
